Disordered Eating Nutritional Therapy

 

Do you know - or suspect that you have - an eating disorder?

Disordered eating can fall into a broad range of symptoms - restrictive eating, overeating, emotional eating, orthorexia, poor food relationships - and as such it can be difficult to discern if what you are experiencing is an eating disorder. If you suspect or know that you are suffering from an eating disorder, I am here to help you navigate the food realm and support you in cultivating a positive relationship with your food and eating patterns.

Since eating disorders are often developed due to emotional upsets, traumatic experiences and/or mental health concerns, it is important to work with a team of professionals to best support your health and recovery. As an NTP, I do not diagnose eating disorders; however I am available to support you and your nutritional needs per the diagnoses of your qualified health professional(s). As such, the following parameters are required to work with me in an Outpatient capacity for addressing your nutritional therapy needs in regards to your eating disorder:

Requirements for Eating Disorder Nutritional Therapy:

  • You have established care with a primary care physician (PCP) who is open to collaborating with me as your nutritional therapist so as to best support your eating disorder recovery.

  • You have established care with a therapist, counselor, social worker or psychologist who is open to collaborating with me as your nutritional therapist so as to best support your eating disorder recovery.

Initial Interview Assessment

What you get:

  • 60 minute nutritional & health history interview

  • 1-3 action steps to incorporate prior to follow up

  • 60 minute follow up & recommendations review

  • Our work together may include: protocol adjustments, herbal & supplemental recommendations, general & personalized meal plans, review of recommended lab work & functional testing results, and educational materials & resources as applicable to your health concerns & wellness goals.

Your Health Investment: $295

Follow Up Sessions

What you get:

  • 60 minute session to review current and next steps

  • Our work together may include: protocol adjustments, herbal & supplemental recommendations, general & personalized meal plans, review of recommended lab work & functional testing results, and educational materials & resources as applicable to your health concerns & wellness goals.

  • (1) 60 minute session: $150/hr

  • (4) 60 minute sessions: $135/hr

  • (8) 60 minute sessions: $125/hr
